It’s spring, and I love it. Springtime holds a special place in my heart as I’m sure it does for some of you as well. New beginnings, rebirth and if I’m being completely honest, it marks the coming of the end of the rainy season in the Pacific Northwest! YAY!!
Primavera, Italian meaning in the style of springtime. That in and of itself is a sufficient reason for you to let your imagination spring into action (pun intended!) and create a pasta primavera now.
The Pasta Primavera recipe that I’ve posted today is loaded with any combination of herbs and leafy greens and your taste buds will surely be delighted. I twisted the recipe slightly and made a pesto with the herbs that I chose rather than simply tossing the pasta in cream and parmesan.
With Easter coming soon, you may be looking for a quick delicious Easter dinner menu – keep reading! Add a simply prepared piece of fish to your pasta primavera and you’re done. More time for the Easter Egg Hunt 🙂
If your menu isn’t complete without dessert, I recommend this
Carrot Cake. It’s moist and delicious. There is one problem with it though you’ll need to resist the temptation to go back for a second slice.
Spring has sprung… Thanks for visiting Palatable Life.
Be well and be inspired, Diane
