Makes 2 Rustic 8 to 9 inch tarts – This dough freezes beautifully.
2 ¼ c all purpose flour
½ t salt
12 T unsalted butter (1 ½ sticks)
6 ounces cream cheese
4-6 T cold heavy cream
Pulse the first 4 ingredients in food processor to a dry crumble
Add 4-6 T cold heavy cream
Pulse until dough gathers in moist clumps
Form 2 disks and wrap in plastic wrap
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour
