Hi! I'm Diane Logan and I'm blessed. I live a very palatable life in Aloha, Oregon with my husband, Steve, and our faithful companion, Sydney. I enjoy looking for inspiration. I make life up as I go along, and while I have no particular expertise I do have an honest enthusiasm for sharing! I hope you enjoy your time on Palatable Life. Be well. Be inspired.

Maximize Potential…

When possible, why not maximize potential?

Take, for example,  the immune system boosting Elderberry known for its  anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties.  (BTW, it’s also said to treat skin problems). Making an Elderberry Syrup is a delicious way to prepare Elderberries and with the addition of ginger root, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and raw honey… POW! the syrup packs quite the medicinal punch, and it tastes amazing!

Now back to the topic of maximizing potential.  Mix Elderberry Syrup with  grass fed, pasture raised beef gelatin and make gummies.  With these gummies, you get all the medicinal goodness from the syrup and a shot of collagen and amino acids from the gelatin.  Sorry vegan and vegetarian readers, no gummies for you 🙂

Elderberry Syrup Gummies are a veritable one-two punch of medicinal and nutritional goodness.

Maximize potential… thanks for visiting Palatable Life.

Be well,

Diane

P.S.  We don’t always need to take our medicine by the spoonful.  Drizzle Elderberry syrup on waffles, pancakes, ice cream, or a goat cheese smeared crostini!
